Liquid Glass is a viscous preparation with a low alcohol content that levels the leather and dries to an extremely glossy finish. It is applied to the leather in several layers, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next; if necessary, a hairdryer can accelerate the process. The fully dried layer is transparent, highly reflective, and resembles glass. Liquid Glass can be used on large areas or to accentuate details. Liquid Glass is easily removed by peeling it off the leather after it dries completely or by gently rubbing it in with warm, soapy water.
After the initial application and drying, a second coat of the clear liquid is applied. After drying, the product is abrasion-resistant and leaves a mirror-like shine on the leather. It can be washed off with water.
